You’ll be joining us in Beaulieu on the Monday night, where you can enjoy a meal with us and meet the other guest crew. With food and introductions complete you can find yourself a bunk, stow your gear and have a look around the boat. Before we head to our beds we’ll have a chat about plans for the following day and the adventure ahead.
The exact route will depend on the tides and weather but typically we either sail a direct route to Guernsey, or visit Cherbourg or Alderney on the way. The rest of the route will depend on the tides and weather but typical destinations include; St Peter Port (Guernsey), St Helier (Jersey), Sark, Herm and occasionally Les iles Chausey or even the Plateau des Minquiers.
There may be some night-sailing involved and almost certainly a night or two at anchor as well as the harbour visits. We’ll be aiming to be back close to the Beaulieu River by Saturday night (probably in Yarmouth). This will leave just a short hop to get you back to Bucklers Hard with plenty of time to tidy up the boat and then head home on Sunday.
