Amelie Rose's 2011 Destinations Diary

It's always fun putting together the diary for a new sailing season. Delight in discovering what wonderful events are happening, fevered plotting and planning to enable Amelie Rose to visit as many as possible, a growing sense of anticipation and excitement as we realise what a fantastic year we're going to have and finally the joy of being able to share it with so many great prospective crew-mates all combine to make it one of the most exciting times of the year.

 

Amelie Rose launches 2011 Calendar

As the wild weather sweeps in from the Atlantic it's time for us to look forward to another great season of sailing. What better way to do this than with Amelie Rose's fantastic 2011 Calendar? It'll look great on your kitchen or office wall, makes a perfect Christmas gift and it couldn't be easier to get hold of a copy.

Amelie Rose on TV!

Channel 4 are screening a two part documentary about "The nation's favourite yacht race" – the annual Round The Island Race around the Isle of Wight. This race is one of Amelie Rose's favourites too and if you watch very carefully the interview with Ben Ainslee at the beginning of the race we think you can see her over his shoulder.

Whether it's her or not the documentary should be a cracker so make sure you tune in or set your TV recorders. The first part starts at 0725 this Saturday 13th November on Channel 4. The second part airs next Saturday (20th) at the same time.
