RYA Day Skipper & Competant Crew Places Still Available
If you fancy doing your RYA Day Skipper or Competant Crew course in all this fabulous sunshine on the prettiest school boat in the Solent then don't delay! We've got a couple of berths left on our newly re-scheduled RYA Trip starting on the 9th May.
Don't take our word for it; "one of the most memorable weeks of my life." and "a life changing experience which I will never forget." is what two of our last trainees had to say and one of the Comp Crew's from the last course has just been back aboard to take part in the St Georges Cup so we're sure that you'll find it both enjoyable and educational. Check out the course details here and book using our easy to use booking form. |

Those of you who follow Amelie Rose's Facebook and Twitter feeds will know that Nick completed his RYA Shorebased Instructor's course back in March and is now qualified to teach both RYA Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Shorebased Courses.
More details of the courses he'll be running will be posted here just as soon as we've got the premises sorted out but in the meantime we know that many of you are based up in London and won't be able to make it down here to Dorset - no matter how good he is! With this in mind we've teamed up with City Sailing who run the full range of RYA Shorebased Courses up there in the smoke. |

After 3 months of hard work we're pleased to announce the unveiling of Amelie Rose's brand new home on the Internet.
The site has been redesigned from the ground up; improving navigation, adding content and integrating our Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube feeds into an on-line experience as inspirational as sailing on Amelie Rose herself.
A completely new intuitive navigation system leads not only to articles and pictures from the original website but also to whole new sections including a Features page, brand new Photo & Video Galleries and a Guides & Resources section to enable the reader to find out more about the places we visit and to learn how to sail a big Gaffer like Amelie Rose. |

As 2010 draws to a close and we all shiver in the face of Arctic conditions it's lovely to warm ourselves with memories of the fantastic Summer we had sailing on Amelie Rose. It's also a good opportunity to look forward to Christmas, the New Year and to a great season of adventures that we have planned in 2011.
It's traditional at this time of year to perform some kind of review,
and we're never ones to fly in the face of tradition so let's have look
at what stood out for us in 2010. We've had a smashing year; a packed
itinerary, lots of sunshine sailing and so many new friends welcomed
aboard to enjoy the Amelie Rose experience. Sven and Helge from Norway take the title of “Furthest Travelled” and
enjoyed some wonderfully crisp Spring sailing in May, Helge also
carrying off the “Best Jumper” award. We've also welcomed aboard Amelie
Rose's first RYA trainees - all of whom have taken their hard-earned
awards already.

Pilot Cutter Charter
Topsail Adventures offer skippered charter sailing holidays aboard Pilot Cutter Amelie Rose, our replica 1850's Isles of Scilly Pilot Cutter.
Join us for an adventure sailing holiday along the South Coast of England, cruising the Solent, West Country and Isles of Scilly,
as well as around the Channel Islands and Brittany Coast and to traditional boat festivals like Yarmouth Old Gaffers (YOGaff),
the St Mawes Pilot Cutter Review, Brest Festival (Les Tonnerres de Brest) 2012 and Douarnenez Festival 2012. Sailing aboard
a Charter Pilot Cutter is an exciting adventure into the world of traditional boats from Nelson's era and we welcome independent
single travellers, small groups and families with children as well hosting corporate events and special occasions.
