New Adventures Announced & More Hungry Sailors Specials

Approaching Tower Bridge Well a week has passed since we watched Amelie Rose sail triumphantly under Tower Bridge on ITV, and we've almost caught up with ourselves here at Topsail HQ. The big news is that bookings are rolling in and although we're only just over half way through February we're about to be posting the first few "trip full" signs, so if you're planning on coming sailing with us this Summer it's time to get browsing and booking!

Don't forget that our "Fabulous Friends" discount is there to make sailing with friends great value as well as fun and there's still the last few days of our "Book Now, Pay Nothing ('til Leap-years day)" offer to tide you over until the Feb pay-check comes in. With places booking up we're also doing a bit of a schedule shuffle to help make space for more of you lovely people to enjoy the Amelie Rose experience this year. Amelie Rose and the Hungry Sailors: They think it's all over - It is now!

It's all over - or is it? Well that's that then... 60 + days for filming gone in just 4 weeks. Did you watch it? We'd love to know what you think. Email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , or use our enquiries form to tell us what you think were the highs (and lows) of the show.

If you don't want it all to end here then you can read Nick's "Behind the Scenes on Amelie Rose" Blog. The whole story is available in our features section here. If you enjoy this then make sure you sign up for our Newsletter and follow us on Twitter and Facebook because we may have some great news coming up about a possible book deal!

If none of this going to be quite enough to fill the void then how about a chance to meet Amelie Rose in "person"? We're working on a couple of ideas to give you a chance to meet up with Skipper Nick, the crew and some of the food producers for an Amelie Rose Open Day. We're also looking to put on a very special Amelie Rose Hungry Sailors Cruise later on this year where you'll be able to visit some of the places we filmed and even take part in some of Dick & James' activities. Places on these events will be limited and offered first to our Hungry Sailors Friends so if you like the sound of them Register Here Now to make sure that you don't miss out!

Amelie Rose and The Hungry Sailors - The Whole Story

Dick and James enjoying some nosh

As you may have noticed, over the next few weeks ITV1 are screening a new food travelogue series called "The Hungry Sailors" - starting at 4pm on Monday 16th January and continuing every weekday until the 17th February. The programme stars Dick & James Strawbridge and our very own Amelie Rose (with occasional walk-on parts played by skipper Nick and crew-mate Steve) on a cruise along the South coast.

But what was it like to be involved? Along the way Nick wrote a blog during the filming of each episode and we'll be publishing each entry on our website features section just before that show is due to air. By the 17th Feb this will have assembled into the full story of Amelie Rose and the Hungry Sailors. We hope you enjoy the blog, and the series, and don't forget - you too can sail aboard the Amelie Rose!
