Pilot Cutter Amelie Rose Takes to the Water

 

At 1530 on Friday the 24th April 2009 in Gweek Quay boatyard at the top of the Helford River in Cornwall we finally reached the culmination of over three years of dreaming, planning and hard graft as Amelie Rose dipped her keel into the water for the very first time. We’ve got the story here with lots of pictures and links to videos that we’ve uploaded onto the website so that you can share in this wonderful day. Also we have news of an extension to our 6 for 5 special offer deadline and a great competition for you all to enter!

Launch day beckons for Amelie Rose

 

So the big day is very nearly upon us. At approximately 1600 hrs on Friday the 24th April Amelie Rose will take to her natural element for the very first time. As she touches the water at Gweek Quay it will be the culmination of nearly three years of saving and planning by the Topsail Team and thousands of hours of work and lots of spending by Luke and guys down in Cornwall. To celebrate this milestone we have uploaded the final few sets of photographs to bring you bang up to date with the build and also we have news of two launch celebration offers…
