Well a week has passed since we watched Amelie Rose sail triumphantly under Tower Bridge on ITV, and we've almost caught up with ourselves here at Topsail HQ. The big news is that bookings are rolling in and although we're only just over half way through February we're about to be posting the first few "trip full" signs, so if you're planning on coming sailing with us this Summer it's time to get browsing and booking! Don't forget that our "Fabulous Friends" discount is there to make sailing with friends great value as well as fun and there's still the last few days of our "Book Now, Pay Nothing ('til Leap-years day)" offer to tide you over until the Feb pay-check comes in. With places booking up we're also doing a bit of a schedule shuffle to help make space for more of you lovely people to enjoy the Amelie Rose experience this year. Scilly on a Scillonian With berths aboard our trip to the wonderful Isles of Scilly filling rapidly we've made some space in our diary for a second bite of this South-Western cherry.
Leaving St Mawes on the 11th June we'll take in all that's best around the islands before heading back to the mainland to disembark on the 17th June. If you fancy coming along on either of our trips to the magical Isles then let us know. More details can be found on our Voyages & Destinations Page.
Join the Hungry Sailors & Sail the West Country We've yet to hammer out the fine details but if you've been watching and enjoying Amelie Rose on ITV's The Hungry Sailors we will be putting on a couple of West Country Hungry Sailors trips this year.
Visit some of the ports where we filmed, meet some of the fabulous food producers that we met and even get to sample some of the grub that Dick and James cooked up for us all whilst cruising along the fabulous West Country Coastline. If you fancy this idea then submit your details and we'll give you priority when it comes to booking. Amelie Rose Open Days
Want to have a look round TV Star Amelie Rose for yourself? You'll meet with Skipper Nick, first mate Steve and a host of the wonderful food producers and other Hungry Sailors fans as we throw open the hatches and invite you aboard the Amelie Rose for a Hungry Sailors open day. We hope to run a few of these in different ports throughout the season but the first one will be in Poole towards the end of March. Numbers will be limited so get your name down to be sure of getting your chance to climb aboard the Amelie Rose.
Last Chance to see!If you missed Amelie Rose on ITV's "The Hungry Sailors" then there's still a chance for you to catch up with some of our escapades on the ITV Player. Episodes are disappearing daily as their 30-day time-limit expires but there's still plenty of great shows on-line. Our favourites include Exmouth, Portland, Cowes, Rye and the enjoyable finale as we headed up The Thames and passed through Tower Bridge. Some of these have only days to run so make sure that you don't miss out and have yourselves a Hungry Sailors evening soon!
Hungry Sailors Behind the Scenes Photo-Gallery Skipper Nick was busy with the camera as well as the keyboard last Summer. So as well as his blog (which you can read here in it's entirety) we've also published a big gallery of photos over on our Facebook page). There's lots of pictures of what went on behind the camera as we cruised along our lovely coastline so if you'd like to find out more about what the filming was like check it out.
That's just about it for now - we hope that you're keeping safe and warm and are looking forward to a fabulous Summer sailing aboard the Amelie Rose!
All our best,
Nick & Melisa, Shanty and of course, The Amelie Rose xxx |
