Shortly after we launched Amelie Rose we were joined by Mike Smylie (aka Kipperman) to take some photos of Amelie Rose's seatrials and to learn more about the story of what possessed us to build a 44 foot traditional boat. A few months later another Classic Boat writer, Peter Willis, joined us to take part in Amelie Rose's first ever Round the Island Race.
