This is the last big event of the season, join us for a long weekend of spectacular racing in company with a great bunch of Gaff-rigged boats at Yarmouth IOW. No experience is required just turn up and have a great time!
Join the crew of the Amelie Rose on the morning of the 20th September as we set out on this great Gaff-rigged caper. We'll use the voyage to Yarmouth to teach you what you need to know about sailing a Pilot Cutter before mooring up together with the other cutters in this picturesque fishing harbour. There will be plenty of boats there making for a wonderful sight as they dress overall with flags and bunting and guaranteeing a friendly crowd.
If you can't get Friday off join us in Yarmouth on Friday evening or early on Saturday. There's a reduced rate (£245 per person) and Yarmouth is easy to get to so you'll still get to enjoy the best of this last big event of the season.
On Saturday we'll head out on a pursuit race with the other cutters - always a fabulous spectacle as the bigger faster boats chase down the small guys and then there's a prize giving party on Saturday night at the Royal Solent Yacht Club with optional food and plenty to drink. You won't need bulging muscles or a degree in yacht racing to enjoy yourself, just an appreciation for the finer things in life. This was a fantastic event last year so come along and join in the fun.
