The Isles of Scilly; blue water, white sand and tons of amazing plants & wildlife, all enjoying the Gulf-stream and Summer sun. A little piece of paradise perched just off the Cornish Coast.
Join the crew of Amelie Rose as we sail West beyond Lands End to the glorious Isles of Scilly. Clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, stunning anchorages and incredible semi-tropical plants & wildlife abound, all basking in the warmth of the gulf stream and the Summer sun. This is always one of the high-points of our year and is an opportunity not to be missed – what better way can there be to visit Scilly than aboard a Scillonian Pilot Cutter?
Join the crew of Amelie Rose in St Mawes at 1600 on the 1th June. We'll whip you aboard in our tender, stow your gear, show you around and then head ashore for bite to eat. Then it'll be heads down as we'll be heading off early to make it around the Lizard in clear tide. With a fair breeze we'll reach the Islands by late afternoon. Spend the next few days exploring the islands, typically visiting St Agnes, Gugh, Tresco, Bryher and St Martins before heading back via the Helford river - birthplace of Amelie Rose. As an optional extra we may be able to organise a walking tour of fabulous Tresco with historian and wildlife expert Will Wagstaff.
We should be back in St Mawes by 1400 on Sunday 17th giving you plenty of time to wend your way home. The price includes your berth, all food and soft drinks consumed aboard, the loan of wet weather and safety gear, fuel, berthing fees and qualified skipper to show you the ropes and keep you safe.
