AR12-08 St Mawes Pilot Cutter Review |
May 24th - 27th, £475 per person
Join 0900 Thursday 24th leave 1800 on Sunday 27th (with optional overnight B&B). It's the highlight of the UK Pilot Cutter year as boats from all over the country head to the annual Pilot Cutter Regatta in St Mawes. Light-hearted racing and a cracking social scene make this an event not to be missed.
Join the crew of Amelie Rose first thing on the 24th May as we set out for the highlight of the Pilot Cutter racing calendar. The St Mawes Regatta is the longest running of the Pilot Cutter events and regularly attracts a fleet of 15+ of these magnificent boats. We'll head from St Mawes to Fowey where we'll meet the rest of the fleet who'll be assembling for the Tribute Passage Race back to St Mawes. There's great camaraderie at this regatta with an event every evening and plenty of banter and laughter shared between the crews. The racing is very light-hearted so there's no need for bulging muscles and a head full of rules, just turn up and enjoy this great event.

Meet up with the rest of the crew at 0900 on Thursday 24th in the lovely harbour of St Mawes. We'll use our tender to get across to Amelie Rose and after a quick safety briefing we'll show you how to set the sails and head off to Fowey. After the passage race back from Fowey we'll be based in St Mawes for two further days of racing and shoreside fun on Saturday and Sunday.
The trip will finish in St Mawes at 1800 on Sunday - with an optional night's B&B if you want to travel back the next day. The price includes your berth, all food and soft drinks consumed aboard, the loan of wet weather and safety gear, fuel, berthing fees and qualified skipper to show you the ropes and keep you safe.
